How to evaluate a 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery for a B2B project.
12V 100Ah is a familiar battery search term. It does not describe a universal application. Match energy, current, charging and installation to the final system before you quote it.
Verified reference platform
The supplied 12.8V 100Ah specification lists 1.28kWh nominal energy, 100A maximum continuous discharge, 150A peak for one second, 14.6V charge voltage, IP66, Bluetooth app communication and M8 terminals. It lists 0-45C charging and -20-45C discharging. Confirm the current final document for each order.
Best qualification questions
- What daily Wh load must be supported, and how long between charges?
- What is the largest continuous and peak current at the battery?
- Are solar, alternator/DC-DC and mains charging compatible with the final configuration?
- Does the 260 × 168 × 209mm enclosure fit safely in the intended location?
