Size an RV LiFePO4 battery from the trip's energy demand.
RV battery sizing is not a brand comparison. It is the relationship between daily consumption, off-grid duration, available recharge and the largest simultaneous DC/inverter load.
Build the energy brief
List appliances, watts and hours per day. Sum energy in Wh, then define the desired autonomy and expected recharge from solar, shore power or alternator/DC-DC equipment. This is the basis for comparing a 1.28kWh 12V 100Ah reference platform or a 3.84kWh 12V 300Ah platform.
Check power separately
Inverter size alone is not enough. Identify its real DC input current and surge behavior, then compare it with battery continuous and peak-current boundaries. Confirm cable and protection design at the same time.
