Buy marine LiFePO4 batteries by duty, not by a generic boat label.
Deep-cycle auxiliary power, engine starting, trolling-motor duty and mixed applications have different electrical and validation requirements. Establish the operating role before selecting a battery platform.
Marine project questions
- Is the battery intended for auxiliary deep-cycle loads, engine starting or a dedicated motor?
- What continuous and peak current do electronics, pumps, refrigeration, motors or inverters demand?
- How will the battery be charged: outboard/alternator, solar, shore power or another source?
- What installation conditions affect terminals, mounting, salt exposure and service access?
The current reference range is deep-cycle oriented. Never position it as engine-starting capable without a dedicated product design and written confirmation. Read the marine solution page before quotation.
