Charging compatibility guide

LiFePO4 charging is a final-configuration requirement.

Solar controllers, alternator/DC-DC chargers and mains chargers must all be reviewed against the final battery's approved charge voltage, current and temperature limitations.

Start with the exact selected battery

The verified 12V reference specifications list 14.6V charging, while the verified 25.6V 100Ah reference lists 29.2V charging. All three list a 0-45C charging range. Those values are reference data only: use the current final product specification for installed equipment settings.

Charge-source review

  • Solar: validate controller profile, setpoints and available current.
  • Vehicle alternator: review whether a suitable DC-DC or current-control strategy is needed.
  • Mains: check charger output voltage, current, temperature logic and final battery compatibility.
  • Cold conditions: do not assume charging is allowed below the approved charge-temperature range.
