Lithium battery imports require alignment across the final product, shipping route, documents, packaging, target-market obligations and customer support. Begin this work at the RFQ stage.
Importer preparation list
- Confirm final SKU, electrical configuration, labels and branded packaging.
- State destination country, incoterm preference, volumes and delivery timing.
- Identify the transport and product documents required by your logistics and commercial route.
- Plan incoming inspection, storage, customer documentation and returns/support process.
- Do not market certifications or performance claims until confirmed for the final supplied configuration.
