When does a 12V 300Ah LiFePO4 battery make commercial sense?
3.84kWh is substantial energy in a 12V-class package. It may suit larger RV or auxiliary solar banks, but it still needs a current, cable and inverter review.
Verified reference platform
The supplied 12.8V 300Ah data sheet lists 3.84kWh nominal energy, 150A maximum continuous discharge, 180A peak for one second, 14.6V charge voltage, IP66, Bluetooth and 4S/4P maximum approved architecture using matched modules. Approximate dimensions are 520 × 237 × 221mm and weight is 24.5kg.
Do not confuse energy with inverter capability
A large Ah figure does not automatically make a battery appropriate for all high-power inverters. Evaluate the inverter's real DC current and surge demand at 12V, then compare it with final battery/BMS limits and the protection/wiring design. Consider whether a 24V system design is more appropriate as system power grows.
